Do You Know All the Technological Innovations at the Disney Parks?

Ever since Disneyland was built, the Walt Disney Company has created many technological innovations throughout the parks. All of these technological advancements help add to everyone’s park experience!

Disney is known for creating new things to add to the park’s magic. One way Disney has been known for adding to the parks magic is by developing new paint colors, go away green, and blending blue. Both of these colors are painted on buildings that Disney does not want park visitors to see.

Technological Advancements in the Parks

From audio-animatronics, trackless ride systems, and projection mapping, Disney has created an immersive experience in their parks.

Interactive Queue Lines

Before getting on the ride, Disney automatically immerses you with the ride queue.  Some examples are Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

The ride queue for both of these rides have different activities for guests while they are waiting!

Audio-Animatronics

Many attractions throughout the parks include audio-animatronics. These attractions include The Enchanted Tiki Room, The Hall of Presidents, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

The Enchanted Tiki Room was the first attraction at Disney to include audio-animatronics. Now, audio-animatronics can be found all around the park!

Trackless Ride Systems

Disney has started adding more trackless ride systems to their rides. These ride systems have been very popular.

In Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, there’s two trackless ride systems: Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (both of these rides can also be found in Disneyland). Over in EPCOT, there is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

Projection Mapping

Aside from the attractions, there are plenty of other technological advancements in the parks.

One of these ways is through projection mapping. Yes, projection mapping is used in rides and attractions, but it is also used in other ways in the parks.

Projection mapping is used during the nighttime fireworks shows, with having projections on the castles. Having projections on the castle makes the entire nighttime show so much more magical.
